There is an inscription in my high school senior class annual that reads something like:
“I will never forget when Jonah was rescued from the welly of the bale!”
It was written by an incredible person to me in our Anacortes, Washington high school choir. We sat together and were singing a spiritual, and for some reason we mixed up the words! Ever since it was a thing between us. I loved my time in my high school choir, and I loved sitting next to my friend!
Her name was Rhonda, and she and I held the soprano section as if we were the only two singing. Those days we would laugh and sing our hearts out, as we both had music in our souls. After graduation I went on to major in music in my college years, only to face the reality that it was not the professional path that I would end up with over time.
Rhonda, however, was a very different story. She never left music behind. Quite the opposite, she became this incredible recording artist, and through a renewed friendship between us, we share many more things in common, and she is a true inspiration and blessing in my life!

It is our hope that with her incredible talent on the piano and her beautiful singing voice, with many other types of instrumentals, your hearts are touched in the same way as mine is!
Truly, Rhonda Davis’ music touches my heart and soul, and when I think about the stress and uncertainty that families are dealing with today, I would hope that our podcasts not only educate and inspire you, but they also can help bring about perspective and a sense of well-being. Music can do more than we can ever realize! When I listen to Rhonda’s music, I am emotionally transported into a place where my heart is opened, and I dream of faraway or special places, with a feeling of peace, tranquility, joy, and hope!
