As the leaves are falling, and the scent of pumpkin spice, warm soups and fresh rain is in the air, it’s a clear sign that we are heading into FALL…. Prevention, that is — on Answers for Elders Radio!

The month of October, especially here in the Pacific Northwest, we often experience a higher degree of rain- making surfaces slippery.  here are overgrown vines and branches from Spring and Summer’s growth in the gardens and yard — that are hindering mobility outside. It gets darker earlier, which hinders sightlines and potential trip hazards.  Perhaps you aren’t getting outside as much as you used to, and thus, are you getting enough Vitamin D to keep you active and vibrant.
